Chinese Junks and Other Native Craft by Nona Donnelly, published by Kelly and Walsh Shanghai 1939. A hardback size 25 by 18 cm. originally published in 1924, this is the 3rd edition. 142 pages. Illustrated throughout with black and white engravings and with five tipped in colour plates by Donnelly of various types of vessel. Front board has an image of a junk and the title in a decorative cartouche. Slight rubbing to corners and edges but overall a very good copy. There is a small label from a Chinese bookstore to the rear endpapers with its original purchase price.
