A collection of stories and dialogues from Berquin's books also published by Stockdale, and with an important introduction discussing the moral effects of children's literature and condeming the 'dastardly or superstitious, Ghosts, witches, wishing-caps and such extravagant machinery...so many delusive lights...'. The work is dedicated to 'Sunday School' Raikes.
