Book Description

London: William Heinemann Ltd., 1926. First limited edition, this being number thirty eight of two hundred and eighty copies. This is a very good (or better) copy. Unfortunately lacking the dust wrapper. In the original green buckram, with gilt titling to the front panel and the spine. There are some minor surface marks present, and very minimal bumping to the spine tips. The gilt edges are bright. The internals are immaculate, and without any additional ink inscriptions. Contains a colour frontispiece and fifty one black and white places, plus the additional colour plate to the rear. It is signed twice, once to the colophon, and again to the additional plate in the rear, School for Those About to Become Cartoonists , signed simply Max. This is a very good (or better) copy of a fine production.
