Book Description

chromolithographic print, 288 by 199mm. In very good condition and suitable for framing.
Dealer Notes
A striking print of Abdul Qadir Gilani (c.1077/78 - 1166), a Sufi prophet. Titled God's Witness, it is a rare example of devotional printing in the Maghreb in the middle of the twentieth century. Whilst there isn't a printer's slug, it is plausible that it is a later version of a print produce by Bonsteve in Algiers. Rare. Seller Inventory # 637-1
