Cartoon map of San Francisco. A small card map, size 14 by 10 cm. Published by Carica Tours, San Francisco 1939. According to the text on the reverse of this (unused) card it was “an animated post card map, touring in caricature the many points of interest to be found in the city of the Golden Gate etc… Colour. The map shows the main features of the city drawn in a comic style and with with some of local characters (bohemians, swells, fishermen, golfers, jockeys and the local Chinese community) also depicted in a humourous vein. Includes a compass rose. VG condition.
