Sketch map of Peking drawn from Crow’s Handbook for China and published by Carl Crow, Shanghai 1921. On paper size 32 by 30 cm. Colour. With a key to temples, missions and churches. The map shows an area enclosed by the old city walls with some features outside the walls identified such as various tombs, the foreign cemetery, the mission church and school and the Altar of Earth. Within the walls the Chinese and Tartar Cities are shown in some detail on either side of the Peking-Hankow and Government of North China railway lines. Has been folded. Good to VG condition.
