Book Description

First edition. 12mo. Two volumes in one. Pp 236; [15]; 417 [15]. Collated complete and correct. Weller suggests that it is a false imprint, and that it was probably printed by H. van Bulderen at The Hague. Early signature to title page; Joannis Ludovici Routier Dupare, with a note in the same hand opposite to fly leaf verso. Small twentieth century bookplate to front pastedown. Contemporary calf, elaborately gilt spine, contrasting label, edges speckled, internally very clean. An excellent example of the first edition (please see photos).
