With a preface by Nevil Maskelyne and an introduction that lists the Commissioners and explains their role in promoting the discovery of longitude at sea. . The tables included in the almanac allowed sailors at sea to determine their longitude, thus avoiding shipwreck and disorientation. Minor rubbing to head of spine and corners of boards but overall in Good condition.
