The General

Book Description
First Edition. Pictorial hard covers with matching dust jacket. A lovely copy, clean, fresh and bright. Slight rubbing to corners and tips of the spine and a touch of foxing to boards, really minor but must mention. Internally clean and bright with light foxing to fore edge, sometimes affecting the margins. Unclipped dust jacket with slight age toning and a touch of foxing to panels, rubbing/creasing/chipping to corners and edges and tear to bottom of front panel as seen in photos. Previous owner's stamp to front endpaper. Unpaged. 'This book is intended for children, their parents, and Generals! The story is about General Jodpur and tells how he became the most famous General in the whole world, not because he was a good soldier but just because he was good'.
