Bound in contemporary full vellum with worn title in ink to the spine. Marbled endpapers and bookplate of James Norris of Norfolk to front pastedown. All edges gilt. Portrait [ T.Phinn Sculpt.] [8], xv, 16-351, [1], [53 Index]. There is a further portrait laid down with a verse by Dryden, and twelve lively but unsigned plates, one for each of the twelve books that make up the poem. This little volume would seem to be a variant of ESTC 006026764, citation No. N34469, with added plates and Index. I can find no exactly matching record for the work in ESTC or on Library Hub. It is a pretty little volume, sound in the binding and with attractive plates . It must be rather uncommon in this edition.
