4to (280 x 220 mm), printed title followed by [38] leaves each with a mounted photograph and letterpress description beneath, silk moiré endpapers, original gilt tooled green full morocco, head of spine chipped, free endpapers spotted, family crest stamped in gilt on upper cover, all edges gilt.
Presentation inscription from the noted Nottinghamshire bibliophile James Ward, with his armorial monogram bookplate.

A very rare privately printed album of photographs of interiors of Welbeck Abbey, as well as the grounds and external views of the house. “The photos in this book show many rooms furnished and in good repair and is a remarkable record of the rooms and their contents including the Picture Gallery. The rooms shown include the Entrance Hall, State Dining Room, The Music Room, State Bedroom, Baroness Bolsover’s Boudoir, Print Room and the Duke of Portland’s Sitting Room.”—Cooper.
