A satire on Lady Londonderry, wife of the colonel-in-chief of the Tenth Hussars, shown sporting a magnificent moustache and dressed in the regimental uniform, but wearing a lady’s long riding skirt, and drawing the backward glance of a passing officer, the lower subtitle of ‘One of the Tenth’ continuing ‘When I was an Infant gossips would say—when I grew older, I’de be a soldier. &c.’.
