PRINTED IN 100 COPIES - GUIDING VISITORS AROUND OOTACAMUND

A charming blue printed map of the field station of Ootacamund. It is no known as Ooty and situated in the Nilgris district in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Encompassing the entire station, the map reaches west to the end of Ooty lake, north to Tudor Hall, south to Kakarimund and the toll gate and east to Old Ooty. Some of the places that the map shows include the Nazareth Convent, the Mosque, Shooting range, Billiards room and Lady Hobert’s Girl’s school.

The details at the foot of the map include the price of one rupee and note: 'This map is intended as a guide for Visitors. It does not define any legal right such as limits of properties, right of way &c.’
