Dealer Notes
A noted botanical artist, Lucas was founder and president of the Society of Botanical Artists, as well as President of the Royal Miniature Society; she won thirteen gold medals for her toadstool paintings. These meticulously detailed, beautifully coloured, life-size images are stunning revelations of the range and variety of species to be found.
In his Introduction to volume 2, Professor David Pegler, Head of Mycology at Kew Gardens says“To identify the Fungi correctly, especially mushrooms and toadstools, it is essential to be provided with illustrative material. To be useful, the illustrations must be accurate and complete. This is where the present work is so valuable.”
N.B. A heavy set; will require additional postage
