The wrapper with significant loss to the upper edge of the front cover affecting the titles, with Dick near lost. Loss also affecting the titles to the head of the spine, which is toned. Chipping and light loss at the extremities and tail of the spine. Front cover appearing bright otherwise. Rear cover rather scuffed and soiled, with some edge wear including closed tears and creasing. Unclipped but with price marked out in marker. Minor discolouration to the spine, extremities and spine ends a touch bruised. Calligraphic ownership inscription to ffep. Binding remains firm. Some occasional spots. One of only two novels for children by Day Lewis, complete with the dust wrapper.
