Offset-lithographic printing. 8vo measuring 135 by 205mm. Yellow and purple threaded headband. Naskh script with catch-words and verses marked with spheres, yellow endpapers; ex-libris stamp ‘Dr Blair’ to FFEP otherwise pages clean, neat repair to the the first decorative leaf. Folding into the original red Morocco over pasteboards with a flap, boards and spine featuring blind-embossed designs; leather worn along the spine (presumed to be remnants from a label), some wear along the extremities, areas lightly rubbed.

Dealer Notes

A good example of a turn of the century travel Qur'an housed in an embossed morroco binding. This design is typical of Ottoman Qur'ans from this period.
