A Plan of the Proposed Docks and Line of a Canal with a collateral cut on the Surrey Side of the River Thames surveyed by the order of the Committee deputed by the Inhabitants of Southwark by C Cracklow, engraved by Basire and ordered by the House of Commons to be printed 1796 and to be reprinted 1803. On paper size 52 by 42 cm. From a Report on Providing Accomodation for the Trade and Shipping of the Port of London. Some original contemporary hand colouring. Covers an area from Lambeth Reach in the west to the River Lea. Includes a compass rose. Has been folded. VG condition.
