First edition. Recently rebound in full green crushed morocco, with a portion of the original cloth cover laid down and inset to the front board. Gilt spine titles and decorations, gilt ruled borders. A few light handling marks to the boards, else externally lovely. Illustrated with eight tipped in colour plates, each complete with tissueguard; tissueguard to frontispiece loose (and thus a touch edgeworn), but present. A very smart example in a lovely recent binding.
