First edition. Royal octavo, pp xxii, 253. Bound in green cloth covered hard boards, gilt to spine. No jacket. Other than a small bookseller's label to the bottom of the front pastedown the book is clean and unmarked internally. Boards and gilt are bright and clean, corners sharp, binding tight. The only issue to note is that several of the pages show some light paper creasing, presumably either from handling or a printing issue. Overall the book grades Near Fine. Scarce book in commerce though widely held institutionally.
