The Natural History section is in the form of letters addressed to Thomas Pennant and Daines Barrington. Volume One includes the Pennant letters and the Garden Kalendar (here printed in its entirety for the first time, with introduction by Samuel Reynolds Hole, Dean of Rochester from 1887); Volume Two the Barrington letters and the Antiquities, with Appendices in Latin, the Bibliography and the Index.
