Book Description

A set of 6 small softback books 4 inche square and stapled at the spine; each has lovely colour llustrations; they vary in condition; generally they are very good; however Mrs Purr has a little splitting to spine, mended with magic tape; and a small crease to cover; Mrs Waddle has a smilar split to spine; and minor foxing to cover (see picture); Mrs Polly has had the spine mended an the cover is detached from the body of the book; Mrs Cackle has mended splitting to bottom half of spine; Mrs Nibblehas mended splitting to very bottom spine; the mending with magic tape is very discrete and the books still look lovely. the box is rubbed at edges- again see picture; these are very delicate items and considering they are nearly 100 years old have survived remarkably well.
