Book Description

A very nice copy indeed of this short mystery Play based on a visit to the Trenches during the First World War. The text is in French and English. Cream cloth , gilt titles and decorations contained in a cardboard slip case which is still intact though a little battle scarred having served its purpose well. The book itself has delicate silk ties which are still largely intact. A handsome and tactile production. Six full page superb illustrations by Louis Raemaekers. Script written by Margaret B Calkin.
