Book Description

A very well preserved copy of one of the earliest books on Torquay, a town which only came into existence at the time of the Napoleonic wars. The book has been re-backed at some time, and , as a result is clean and tight. Olive green cloth with gilt on black titles to the spine; 'Price 7s 6d'. There are 10 engravings and other illustrations as well as a double page hand coloured map of the area. A scarce book.
