Book Description

A reasonably good copy of the 'true' First Edition published by Cape in 1949. Red cloth, gilt titles in a complete Dustwrapper, not price cut 15s.net. The wrapper is quite 'well used' and has some loss at the head of the spine; internally there is some red offsetting from the book. The book has some scattered foxing to the preliminaries and page edges but is tight and firm all folding maps are present.
