Dealer Notes
A fine collection of mostly 19th century armorial bookplates, showcasing a range of designs. Most are in the plain armorial style that was popular in the 19th century, though several are in the more ornate Chippendale style, suggesting that they date from the latter end of the 18th century, when that style — named after the famous furniture designer — was in vogue.
