Old price inked out on front free endpaper. A VG copy. Signed by the author to the front endpaper, a presentation copy dated 'Brisbane Nov 1927'. Poems, Archibald Strong [1876-1930] pub. James Ingram and Son, "The Block" Collins St., Melbourne 1918. Octavo. 49 pages plus three pages listing other titles from the publisher. Buff-coloured, paper wrappers in good order. The name of the poet, Dorothea McKellar, is in her own hand on the top of the front cover. Clearly her personal copy. Dorothea McKellar [1885-1968] was active on the Sydney literary scene between the wars. Poems, Alexander G. Steven, pub. Edward A. The book is in VG order with an inscription on the front, free endpaper from the poet's sister, Hilda A. Steven to Elsie Cole, both of whom were also poets. Paper covers, the yapp edges with chips and short tears. Old (very old!) pencilled price rubbed out to the front, free endpaper. Presentation inscription opposite the title page to a 'Miss L. Bullivant' from the author. The "Coo-ee" Call, by 'an Australian' (pseudonym of Maude Wordsworth James) [1855-1936] Dedicated to All Men in Khaki. pub. Sands and McDougall, Adelaide, the fourth edition, stated on the front cover. c. 1919. Landscape format, octavo. 34 pp. Paper wrappers, with illustration of 'Coo-ee' plant to the front cover. String-bound. The book is in VG condition. An inscription from the author to 'E (or 'G'?) J Bowen from Mrs Wordsworth James Febry 27th 1919. Very scarce. A celebration of the Aboriginal call in verse, stories and lore. Land of Memory, M. A. Robertson, pub The Bookfellow in Sydney, 1919. 1st ed. Octavo. Blue cloth in good order. 43 pp. Signed by the author to the half title and with a further authorial inscription to the front free endpaper, presenting the book to the Reverend E. G. Ferguson on Anzac Day 1923. Foreword by the Australian critic, A.G. Stephens.
