Large octavo. Green cloth in VG condition with only very minor rubbing. The endpapers have minor spotting and tanning, internally clean, and no inscriptions. Folding genealogical charts to the front and rear. B/w illustrations. The book is an attempt by the author to make up for the omission of any discussion of the Irish branch of the Monroe family in Alexander Mackenzie's 'History of the Munros of Fowlis' (1898). Bookplate to the pastedown of Kinn Hamilton McIntosh, who wrote crime novels under the name 'Catherine Aird'.
