A very good copy of the First thus (Hardback) Edition of 1954 with Mervyn Peake illustrations. Navy blue cloth , gilt titles and figure to the spine in a complete pictorial Dustwrapper, not price cut, 12s 6d net. Many full page and in text illustrations by Peake. Offsetting to the endpapers from the Dustwrapper and slight foxing to the text block edges. Very slight rubbing to the Dustwrapper , otherwise a very nice copy.
