Book Description

A superb collection of paintings and drawings by Edward Wilson , who was a member of Scott's two Antarctic Expeditions. More than 300 reproductions with 60 pages of colour and 42 of monochrome. There are detailed notes on the drawings and related extracts from Wilson's Diaries. Blue boards with silver gilt titles in a complete pictorial Dustwrapper, npc, 5gns, minimal sunning to the spine. A small amount of speckled spotting to the front and back free endpapers only. A lovely book .
