Book Description

An apparently unrecorded piece, a political “song” parodying the slipsongs of the day, and unsurprisingly without imprint. The essential nature of the piece is to mock the Galway elections of Members of Parliament. Among those receiving a mention are John Moore, Valentine Blake, a Daly of Dunsandle [Castle], [Walter] Lambert of “Creggelare,” [i.e. Creg Clare, Co. Galway]
