A hand signed letter by Prince Philip on Buckingham Palace note paper, dated 7th Sept 1961. Letter size 240 x 185 mm approx in original glazed frame. Slight crease vertically across the letter.

The letter states
' I am delighted to hear about the World Painting Competition for Deaf Children and the wide interest which it has aroused.
I congratulate the winners upon their success and all competitors on their enterprise in taking part.'
Hand signed 'Philip'.
On the back is a small owners sticker 'Mrs. Olga Noble-Mathews, 247, Park West, London, W2.
Olga Noble-Mathews was a publisher of pocket directories.
