Featured on the handkerchief are the title: "Centenary '98", the motto "Who fears to speak of 98?" and four lines of the ballad The Memory Of The Dead (1843) by John Kells Ingram(1823-1907). With views of New Ross, Wexford, Enniscorthy, and the old Irish Houses of Parliament together with cameo portraits of Lord Edward Fitzgerald, Daniel O’Connell, Robert Emmet, Theobald Wolfe Tone & Henry Joy McCracken and the statue of Grattan.
