Dealer Notes
A. A. de Aguiar directed the promotion of Portuguese wines at the Royal Albert Hall London International Exhibition of 1874. On his return he started giving lectures about the subject which where soon met with disapproval from the government because of his critical approach.

An 18th conference took place but was not printed for diplomatic reasons « the author abstaining from printing the 18th, in which he dealt exclusively with the issue of the alcohol levels, so as not to prejudice, from an official point of view, the government's negotiations in England. »--Innocencio.
