Has 6 large richly coloured plates, the central pair form a striking double-spread picturing a fearsome combat between the Prince and the Yellow Dwarf who is mounted on a fierce black cat. 6 pages of text, the first and last printed on the inside of the covers, one leaf has a short, closed edge tear, some gutters reinforced. Publishers original thin card pictorial wraps with list of Routledge’s Shilling Toy Books on the back; two corner tips chipped, some minor wear, dust-marking mainly to edges.
