[1918]. A lovely copy with gilt & black lettering and colour paste down framed by gilt & black design to upper board. Showing signs of age with browning, fading and marks to boards, scuffing and rubbing to corners and tips of the spine and small loss to the spine as seen in photos. Decorative endpapers, pictorial title page, colour frontispiece, three full page colour illustrations plus many black & white line drawings to several pages. Offsetting to free endpapers, foxing to pages, pencil marks to pages and indentation where marks were previously rubbed out. Webbing showing to a couple of places making it a little loose but, with all that said, still a good+ copy.
