Dealer Notes
Dora Russell (1894-1986) lived quite the life. A tireless campaigner for women's rights, birth control, sexual reform and progressive education, she is unfortunately still best known for being the wife of her more famous husband Bertrand Russell. The Tamarind Tree is her autobiography, published in three volumes between 1978 and 1985. All three volumes of our copy are SIGNED by Dora Russell and dated by her on 24 July 1985, less than a year before she died. Very few signed copies of Dora Russell's work exist. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a triple-signed copy of her celebrated autobiography.
