A Guide to Growing Marijuana in the British Isles and Other Cool Climates (with typescript)

Book Description
First edition; 1978. Saddle-stapled stiff card wrappers. With illustrations by Pam Ellis and Cliff Harper. 48pp. The usual age-toning; spine rubbed. A very good copy of this collectible pamphlet, apparently limited to 10.000 copies. A revised edition came out a year later. Our copy is a true first. With a typescript of the same: beige wrappers with metal clasp. Printed single-sided (recto only). With the odd retyped Tipp-Ex correction. Some creasing to corners. Thought to be the original typescript of Don Irving’s pamphlet. Sold together.
Dealer Notes
A collector's bundle: a first printing of Don Irving's classic guide to growing marijuana from 1978 with a typescript of the same title. The pamphlet, with illustrations by Pam Ellis and Cliff Harper, was originally printed in an edition of 10,000 copies, followed by a revised edition (with a different cover) in 1979, and another reprint a year later. (A lot of attempts at growing marijuana must have been made in that period.) Our copy is the true first printing. It's paired with what appears to be the original typescript of Irving's guide. The text (printed to recto only) follows that of the published pamphlet, with the odd retyped Tipp-Ex correction.
