Book Description

FIRST THUS. Large 8vo, illustrated with Wilson’s compellingly unsettling lithographs. Quarter black calf, spine lettered in gilt and decorated with John Westwood’s gilt and green blocked geometric design, green cloth boards. Top edge black. Red endpapers. Touch of rubbing to spine. Else, clean, bright and tight. In the original sober slip case, black leather edges and caps, grey paper sides and back: shelf-wear, sticker residue, nicking to heel, where leather has lifted.
