Book Description

4to., pp. v, [i], 293, [i]. Printed in the Golden type designed by Morris for the Kelmscott Press, in red and black. Some bottom edges deckled. Occasional very light patches of foxing. Designer binding, illustrated paper boards backed in blue morocco with gilt title to spine, marbled endpapers, very good indeed. Blue cloth chemise and slipcase, the former with original paper label to spine, the latter with large and elaborately handwritten label. Though both chemise and slipcase show some significant dampstaining, the book itself is, barring a slightly musty smell, untouched. Bookplate of Eric Sweet to front pastedown.
