Dedication in ink to front endpapers of Vol. I dated 1879. Both volumes have the coat of arms of Magdalen College Oxford gold-stamped to the front board, and these were a gift from the Master and Fellows to a Edward Symons. Spines have been sympathetically relaid and the bindings restored. All edges and endpapers marbled. VG condition.
