Pencil inscription 'Mr. Wedgwood gave it to O & me, Everett' to verso of half title; occasional spot internally. Illustrated with engravings throughout. An scarce Victorian edition of this children's novel, which was privately printed by the Darwin & Wedgwood families; later it was illustrated by Gwen Raverat and printed in a public run.
