William Cuthbertson was the owner of Dobbie & Co., the Scottish horticultural retailers still in existence. In 1925-6 he and his wife decided to visit family members and business contacts overseas. The present work records their travels to India, Ceylon, Australia, New Zealand, Borneo, Shanghai, Hawaii, USA and Western Canada.
