Book Description
Stanley T Chaplin illustrated a number of images entitled “a Cornish litany” which were reproduced as postcards and featured ‘Ghosts and ghoulies and long legged beasties’ and also illustrated a number of traditional Cornish rhymes and legends again reproduced on postcards. He produced some topographical views possibly published in books mostly based around southern England. He seems to have been based in Cornwall in the st. Ives area. We have not been able to establish if this image was used in a book but any information would be greatly appreciated.
