4/6 Parts only of an exceptionally rare early VERY LARGE scale Cinema Poster for SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER 1914 - The London Film Co Ltd. Distributed by Gaumont - regrettably only partially present the whole poster most likely intended for bill boards / gable ends of premises would have measured approx 220cms in height x 300cms in width [roughly 7' x 10'] - the survival rate for such posters of this period of early cinema is very low - not printed on particularly thick paper stock once pasted up for display they could not have been removed for re-use - the only extant example? - the parts which overlapped [when used] have been stored folded and show tears / wear and marginal loss quite probably in a loft as they are grubby / v. sooty mostly confined to the reverse sides.
