This map appeared in the popular monthly periodical The London Magazine, is by the prolific and much regarded mapmaker Thomas Kitchin. Copperplate engraving with delicate hand colouring to emphasis the county boundary, the compass, the Arms of Okeham and the decorative pictorial title cartouche with its surrounding rural backdrop of men at harvest. Size in mm: 16.5 x 21.5cm approx. Card mount.
