Spines lettered and ruled in gilt. Boards with single gilt ruled borders. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Dark blue silk bookmark ribbons. The bindings are unsigned but are certainly the work of a master binder. This new edition is Revised by Kilmartin based on the 1954 Pleiade edition and features material not in the original Scott Moncrieff translation. A fine, simple but beautifully bound set of this classic work.
