Book Description

Report covering the fifth day of the investigation into the loss of the "Lusitania"; 13 pages (plus 1 blank). The Attorney-general Sir Edward Carson (and others) appeared as Counsel on behalf of the Board of Trade. Seven stitched leaves 21 x 33 cms. comprising pp. 66-77 of the report. "Price One Shilling". A trifle dusty, lower corners dog-eared, otherwise near fine.

Launched in 1906, the "Lusitania" was, for a short time, the world's largest passenger ship. Despite initial protestations to the contrary, the "Lusitania" was carrying a considerable amount of munitions when sunk by the German navy in May 1915
