Plan and Sections of the Great Western Railway, London Division. Published by the Great Western Railway June 1838. Reduced and drawn from the Ordnance Survey by Alfred Jermyn and engraved by Richard Palmer. On folding linen in 20 sections, size 73 by 6 cm. Scale one inch to the mile. Heights are shown by shading or hachuring. The map appears to be early as few lines appear: Brunel’s GWR line to the west is shown to just after Didcot. Beneath the map are two sections from west to east. Uncoloured. Folds into original slipcase with gold-stamped title to the front. Map and slipcase both Good to VG condition.
