Book Description
The companion volume to Bill Brandt's 'Camera in London', published by Focal Press a year earlier in the series 'Masters of the Camera'. This series provided a good survey of the photographers' careers to date and these volumes are invaluable today for their inclusion of the 'technical data' so rarely encouraged in the more self-consciously arty photobook that followed in later years and discouraged any discussion of the technical elements of the photographic image.
