A scarce edition of Alice , this Gordon Robinson illustrated edition was published by Epworth Press shortly after the Charles Kelly illustrated one of 1916, which was considerably less attractive , in a much plainer cover and with fewer plates.
Maroon based cloth boards. Cream lettering. Colour frontis has worn edge. Further colour plate opposite page 32. We were surprised to find 7 black & white plates, as we expected to find 6! These are full page line drawings. there are also some part page in text line drawings. The cover is nearly very good condition. Just a little spelling in bottom right hand corner of front cover. Contents Good. No fep. Occasional grubby marks in margins. Foxing to blocked page edges.
